KWA M1911A1 AIRSOFT PISTOL
The story of the Colt Govt M1911 pistol began in the early 1900s, when well-known designer John M. Browning developed semi-automatic pistols for the Colt Company. In 1906 and 1907, the United States Army announced that attempts would be made to replace the revolvers in use with a new, semi-automatic pistol. The army stipulated that the new pistol should be .45 caliber, and Browning designed its own bullet that fired a 230 grain (14.9 grams) bullet, and based on this bullet, the new gun was designed. This new weapon and bullet entered the United States Army inventory in 1911 as the M1911. The improved design entered the United States Army inventory as the M1911A1 and remained in use until the mid-1980s. KWA produced the airsoft version replica of the iconic pistol as the KWA M1911A1. Real firearm The KWA M1911A1, designed faithfully to the original, has the same functions as the real M1911A1. The lower receiver is made of steel and the slide is made of aluminum alloy. The KWA M1911A1 also has thumb and grip safety features. Just like the real M1911A1, the KWA M1911A1 has fixed, iron sights.
