BOLT Airsoft's B4A1 ELITE SD (B.R.S.S.) carabiner replica is undoubtedly an important step in the evolution of AEG replicas. Thanks to the innovative solutions implemented, it was finally possible to emulate the experience of using a GBBR type replica in an AEG type replica. In short, BOLT Airsoft has managed to create an assault rifle replica that has a must-have “kick.”
The replica is made of high quality materials with the utmost attention to detail. All metal elements are made of aluminum. Also, some elements are made of steel. These include: flash concealer, magazine and stock mounting ring. Alignment of the elements is not a concern. Especially between the upper and lower receivers, there are no loose spots characteristic of “top shelf” replicas. An interesting solution is the inconsistent paint job on the replica. Instead of a deep black color often seen in replicas, here are different shades of black and a barrel and many other minor elements in a steel color. This brought the replica's look closer to the original, giving it a more realistic look. This effect is further enhanced by the use of a paint that gives the surface a grainy texture.
The replica features a multi-position, telescopic BOE DELTA STOCK - featuring a thick, rubberized support pad and sockets for attaching a QD tactical sling. The top of the replica has a 22mm RIS rail that allows attachment of additional accessories. The ergonomic forward grip is made of polymer, similar to the pistol grip. The replica has a surface in the form of a steel flash hider. The replica comes with a Mid-Cap magazine with a capacity of up to 140 BB.
The biggest asset of this replica is undoubtedly its recoil and slider operation simulation system. It consists of two independent elements: a standard imitation of the bolting process known from most EBB replicas, and a separate system mounted inside the stock slider. This system consists of springs, an inertia element and a system that transfers the energy from the piston to the inertia element. The experience offered by implementing this solution cannot be compared to anything ever offered by other manufacturers of serial AEG replicas.
An important fact is that due to certain construction differences resulting from the implementation of the Blow Back system, the replica is largely compliant with the V.2 standard set by TM. The only significant difference is the piston with a characteristic notch. However, it is equipped with a set of metal teeth that guarantees significant durability. The compatibility of the remaining parts of the transmission guarantees an easy adjustment and access to spare and maintenance parts when necessary. A high-quality Hop-Up chamber combined with the 6.01mm precision barrel guarantees excellent performance despite the short barrel – ideal for the CQB.
